Alpine MTB Training becomes Alpine MTB Performance + RehabWhy the new branding? Initial Alpine MTB Training was focused on building effective fitness programs for the unique demands of mountain biking. After a short while, because of my Athletic Therapy background, it has lived at the intersection of performance and rehab, even before I had fully articulated it. This branding update simply brings clarity to what has already been built. At its core, this system exists to solve one problem I’ve seen again and again across my entire career: Athletes are forced to choose between getting healthy or improving performance. In the real world, that split makes no sense. Where this philosophy comes fromBefore working primarily with mountain bikers, I spent years in high-performance sport, including professional hockey. In that environment, I wasn’t just handing athletes off from one silo to another. I was deeply involved from the moment of injury through to full return to play, often managing:
The goal was never just “return to baseline.” The goal was to return athletes more resilient, more capable, and often performing at a higher level than before the injury. That same approach is what Alpine MTB Training has been built on. These athletes weren’t just trying to “heal” and hope they could perform when they were cleared to get back on the trail. They wanted to ride harder terrain, race faster, feel confident again, and stay in the sport long-term after their injury. That only happens when rehab and performance stop being treated as separate phases. This is where the tagline Build Your Flow comes in. Flow is what every rider is chasing, that effortless, dialed-in state where movement feels automatic and the bike disappears beneath you. But flow doesn’t happen by accident. You don’t show up underprepared, moving poorly, or managing pain and expect to access it consistently. Flow is earned through deliberate work. You build capacity so your body can handle the demands of the trail. The more you build, the more often you experience flow. That’s the philosophy behind everything here. What this update meansThis new branding is simply the clearest expression yet of what Alpine MTB Training has stood for:
